The sky’s the limit: Rapid progress at Opus sees the riverside tower rise high above the River Thames
The sky’s the limit: Progress at Opus has been rapid as the riverside residential tower rises high above London’s River Thames.
Designed by PLP Architecture, structural engineering from AKT II and construction by Multiplex, the 50-storey masterpiece will be the tallest residential building in prime central London once complete, offering unprecedented views of the surrounding area.
Set to be part of the vibrant Bankside Yards neighbourhood, Opus will offer unparalleled amenities, excellent transport links on the doorstep, as well as the cultural destinations of the South Bank, including Tate Modern and the Globe Theatre a few minutes’ walk away.
A complex construction project, all the intricate details have been considered to ensure that the finished apartments will offer beautifully crafted 1-4 bedroom apartments and penthouses with impressive views of the South Bank and beyond. The design ensures that natural light has been maximised, with the apartments due to include floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the building. With an interlocking façade, Opus will include 75% more corner apartments than a typical building and a panorama which includes St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Shard, the City of London and the BT Tower.
